Dapoxetine is an SSRI like drug designed for premature ejaculation prevention

It is superior to other SSRI drugs because it moves quickly through the body and doesn't need to be taken daily.

Why is that the worst way to take one of these drugs?
Withdrawal.
The body is going in and out of withdrawal over and over again. This is such a shock to the brain and the entire glandular system that it can lead to some very serious reactions.

These would be triggered each time it is used and then abruptly discontinued - similar to what women have been suffering as they go in and out of withdrawal each month taking Serafem for PMS once a month.

So, now, we are going to have men going in and out of withdrawal too as they take this drug to prevent premature ejaculation. SSRI drugs have been promoted and prescribed for this for a very long time now.

And considering the effects of these drugs upon the sex drive over time, you don't need to worry about any kind of ejaculation at all. So in that sense these drugs are VERY effective in preventing premature ejaculation. I do not think this is the type of negative effect most men would expect from this new drug.
